Introducing Chef Giuseppe Lioce.
True-blue Italian Giuseppe Lioce counts his mother as much an inspiration as the Michelin-starred chefs he has worked with. Born in Noicattaro, a beautiful small town close to Bari city in Puglia, Italy - famous for its delicious grapes that are exported to the entire world - Lioce's love for food emerged early. As a child he would often assist his father plucking grapes from their vineyard to produce Primitivo wine - a family tradition dating back 300 years. “The vineyard was like a second home to me,“ said Lioce, who has since worked across Michelin-starred and boutique restaurants as well as five-star hotels in Italy, London, Spain, Ireland, Switzerland, Australia and India.
Chef Giuseppe counts simplicity as his signature style and now brings his acclaimed craft to us at Nero Nero as Executive Chef. “All my dishes have a story to tell.” says this gracious talent.
